Kaiser Aluminum, Coil Coating Line Production Building Addition

Our team is leading this progressive Design-Build project consisting of a 100,000 SF, production bay that will house a new coil coating line totaling 665 feet in length. This is an addition to the existing rolling, casting, and fabrication facility that our team has worked in for nearly 60 years. The team is self-performing structural steel, wall panels, roof decking, and an associated 15kV substation.
Additionally, our team has secured engineering and preconstruction contracts for the equipment civil/structural, process mechanical, process electrical, coating-mix rooms, tank farm, and general facility build out. As a progressive Design-Build, this delivery method will develop target budgets as design progresses, buyout long-lead items as soon as they are specified, and negotiate final pricing as design is complete. This fast track method allows construction to begin much earlier and approaches the project from a “best value” to the customer perspective.
