Edwardsport Station, IGCC Facility

Our team was selected to perform the structural steel erection, equipment setting, piping, electrical and instrumentation, as well as cable tray installation on the gasification section of its $2.9 billion Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle facility in Edwardsport, IN. Our work included the gasification structure, the gasification balance of plant structures and the interconnecting pipe racks. The laydown yard for the entire site was also managed by the project team. These scopes together represented the largest total contract awarded to any contractor on site.
Along with the IGCC plant project, the team performed maintenance and outage work onsite. The work performed included piping, electrical, iron work, rotating equipment/precision work, crane work/critical lifts, high risk work/supplied air, concrete work, all types of welding, boiler code work and refractory/tile.
