Tarrant Regional Water District and City of Dallas Water Utilities, Section 19 Long Tunnel Crossings Integrated Pipeline Project, Electrical Support
Our team was selected to perform electrical work on Section 19 Long Tunnel Crossings Integrated Pipeline Project as a subcontractor to the Traylor-Sundt Joint Venture. The entire project is an integrated water delivery transmission system in the Dallas area consisting of 150 miles of pipeline, three new lake pump stations, and three new booster pump stations delivering a required capacity of 350 million gallons per day (MGD) of raw water to North Central Texas. TRWD and the City of Dallas Water Utilities currently serve over 4.1 million residents. This project will allow these agencies to continue supporting regional community and economic growth.
Sterling’s work on the project includes electrical support for substation medium voltage terminations, temporary service, generator power, grout mixing to support tunnel excavation, and underground conduit installation for the air compressor station.
